Survival Tips for Newbie-Commuter

Yes Folk, what you see is the actual train of the Philippine National Railways - Way back when i was second year, we intentionally sneak out from our campus going to Sta. Mesa to have fun and feel what is being a Manila student. I experienced a lot from maipit sa sobrang daming tao, maging kakambal na ang bakal at pinto sa sobrang siksikan, ang habulan experience para sa huling larga ng tren at marami pang iba. If you really an adventurous and someone searching for challenging experience, why don't you try PNR experience especially yung biyernes at rush hours, maghanda ka na ng sandaang porsyento ng depensa at opensa mo, kasi papasukin mo ang mundo ng walang urungan.
As an avid fan of commuting, whether its rainy, sunny, windy as long as no suspension, go ako dyan, mula jeep, Light Rail Transit or Metro Manila Rail Transit, Tricycle, Truck or pedicab na try ko na, aba ikaw na ang limited ang budget sino pa ba ang hindi maghahanap ng ikakatipid nya, kaya suki ako ng unli-lakad mapa bahay man o galaan. Traveling is fun, especially when you are fond of searching beautiful sites out of no where. I don't have HD phones or Camera, kaya minsan nakiki shot nalang ako with my classmates.

Here is my Top 5 Tips for you sa pag cocommute:

1. Know where you are going, Mabuti na yung may alam ka sa kung saan ka pupunta especially kung galing kang probinsya gaya ko. It is actually the first and my for most tip for you, Ka-iskolar - if you are going to attend to a seminar, workshop, forum or just gala, Don't hesitate to ask google about the place (google, last minute birthday idea haha) look for the most accessible and well known land mark like Mall, Shopping center, Government Establishment or just any you found easy to memorize. Sabi nga ni kuya kim "Lamang ang may alam!" kaya know more before you go.

(Tada!)
As the first tip says, you should looked forward to possible rush hour experience because you already know where you are going, There should be no complaints, stop mumbling or murmuring about it.

4. Always Prepare Barya, Minimal amount around fifty pesos below, It will be easier for the driver or konduktor to give your change. Pangalawa para di na rin sya maka breezy move saiyo "ay pogi, kulang ng lima - ok lang ba?" mga planadong strategy, well whether they are lying or not, you should pay attention to your payments, as commuter we aimed to reduce cost thru traveling but if you continue not to recognize it, sana nag charity ka nalang pogi.

5. Don't afraid to Ask, I know a lot of people that hesitate to ask, because they feel to afraid to called ignorant in the road or they just maintaining their poses out of the crowd osya, sila na ang mga high class, but if you ask, you were able to know if you can avail discounts, cheaper route, possible adventure get away or just shorter and smarter way out of the labyrinth. Huwag kang matakot magtanong, syempre pipiliin mo kung sino tatanunangan mo like MMDA, Policemen, Traffic Enforcer or any other government official that might give you hint, pwede din yung mga security guard, Food stall steward or just simple and plain magtataho at nagtitinda ng candy at cigarette. Trust is expensive but if you know they are sincere about what they are trying to impart with you, why don't you try to trust them and if someone made something terribly with you or make fun out of you - make them as your lesson for today. Von Voyage!
