Reinventing Yourself

I casually stares above and ask myself why is everything keeps on repeating, like i was playing in a carousel - the same place, in a rounded plate. I'm running but it turns out to be in the same place, I'm moving but i felt nothing is different. Then eventually i'm here, keep on finding myself re-inventing.

“You’re never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream.” ~C. S. Lewis

We found something everyday that we need to shift or do something to make some changes in ourselves yet we found ourselves dumbfounded. Change means reinvention, each time we shift to different phases in our lives, we shed to make difference. It is not easy, it is actually difficult as a teen turning into an adult to make a move into world that you have no actual idea but as for the real life, it has no turning back i have to go and continue.

Here are my five major tips in re-inventing yourself.

1. Know what you want.
I keep on finding myself, listening to what other wants me to be, i keep on tracking to the things that seems to be a disappointment for other but at the end ako ang talo, nakakapagod. Sundan at hanapin mo yung mga gusto mong gawin. Kagaya ko, i usually seek on design idea from pinterest or watch Ellen's Design Challenge to fit in what i really like - I'm into designs and i knew it, but seems my parents don't show sympathy toward my endeavor but its ok i took it as a challenge instead of hindrance - alam naman natin ang parents natin, susuportahan ka sa mga bagay na gusto nila pero yung mga bagay na ayaw nila eh tipong - "Stop son, I'm busy or pakainin mo na yung mga baboy at sabayan mo na rin ng linis ha" -.,- (seriously?)

2. Get clear on what you want and why.
I always ask myself, what i really like? aside of designing, I'm into science, entrepreneurship even though i'm an aspiring palang, astronomy, Business, Gaming, Web Development and everything. I'm a person with different faces and i found it hard to fill in the niche. So i ask you as well, What do you really want and Why? (mmm ... i'm meditating maybe later)

I love learning that's why i do have different platform. Learning is what drives me to do what i want, I read science book from botany to herpetology, I love listening to business ideas and get inspired from their stories, I do designing so i mixed my interest with blogging - so i mixed match the web templates and look for codes for such development and i love staring above sky, every night - i love stars and everything celestial above. It should be clear that it is not about your chosen field but what field makes your heart keep on throbbing, keep you alive - parang first love, parang si crush, parang nung una mo syang niyaya sa labas at manuod ng sine (lande! yieee)

3. Don’t feel the need to justify your move, you don't need to prove everything.
Way back when i was in high school, i used to fit in with the crowd - so i usually report everything what i'm doing "Ui, may bago akong nabasang manga na ganito, may bago akong nalarong game na ganyan". I found it tiring, nakakapagod na sumabay at laging may patunayan. If someone is curious about your why, tell him or her in simple and truthful terms. No one can argue with the facts. He or she may have opinions, but the five minutes he or she spends thinking about you is nothing like having to live your life 24 hours a day.

4. Find others.
Get in touch with a reinvention mentor or friend and someone who has transitioned from one thing to another. I read books written by the most productive people in their chosen field, i read articles about gearing up stories, I usually scan and browse for motivational quote to set my self again. I do have different groups and communities in Google+, Facebook and follow motivational mentor in twitter. Make use of it, to set up yourself, hindi yung stalk ka ng stalk ng kung sino sino, sayang sa mobile data.

5. Take action.
When you started to put up yourself, make an action, Stop murmuring and asking the same question. again and again, we are already done with asking and finding, the last part is moving. I never said it would be easy but you have to persevere and dedicate yourself of what you want to be. Go lang ng Go! huwag ka ng matakot, ok lang yung kakaiba, minsan lang mabuhay - gawin mong worth it ang reinvention mo.
