It was a roller coaster ride. A vacation leave turned into indefinite soul search. Nag quit ako sa first job ko, it was immediate because i can no longer do rendering due to the fact na nasa ibang bansa ako that time. Wala akong masabing masama sa dati ko kumpanya, they offered me the best training platforms from global communication to product specific. As a former human resource student, malaking cost yun para sa company but i'm seeing what they are rooting at, they are aiming not to be the biggest but the best service provider sa Industry and I'm grateful that they allowed me to be part of their story and they are part of my journey.<br />
<br />
Going back, I went to Singapore and stayed their for roughly a month, I looked for a job and step out sa comfort zone ko. Fortunate ako kasi may host family na nag offer sa aking ng accommodation in minimal cost, almost food and transportation lang ang nagastos ko for staying in a high end and expensive country like Singapore. Di lang ako swinerte sa paghahanap ng trabaho due to quota na pinapatupad ng Ministry of Manpower. Promising yung opportunities at salary, kung doon ka nagtratrabaho, yung perks ng security, convenience, transportation at inter cultural experience, isang malaking factor. Masyadong maiksi ang 30 days para masabi kong ganun kaganda at kaayos ang Singapore pero enough na for me to find myself. <br />

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
At the age of 24, feeling ko kailangan ko mag catch up, na pressure ako mula sa kung ano tingin ng school to how they see me at home, and i saw myself drowning na from that growth mindset sa corporate ladder. I tried to contain everything but nahirapan nalang akong huminga, minsan nakikita ko nalang sarili ko umiiyak ng walang dahilan. Pakiramdam ko malaki utang na loob ko sa mundo, frinustrate ko ang sarili ko sa mga bagay na wala akong control like promotion, salary, work life balance, everything. Bumili ako ng mga financial literacy books, nakinig ng podcast, nag aadvise sa ibang tao about what is ok and what is not but hindi ko naitanong sa sarili ko, are you ok?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
It was a roller coaster ride, with just one snap, sinabi ko na di na ako babalik sa company. Feeling ko nakapag desisyon ako, feeling ko may makwekwento ako sa ibang tao about one in a life time decision. Siguro masasabi nila na it doesn't make sense but for me, not everything does, not everything has to. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I realized sa paglalakad at pagagala ko sa Singapore, Singaporeans are very humble which what separate me from them is that arrogance and fear still keep me from learning the simplest and most significant lesson of all, It's not about me. I know na napaka fast phase ng working environment nila but kung makikita mo yung sa East part ng Singapore, and even sa small alley nila. Old people are still working maybe because of the high end living but you can still live for roughly $5 to $10 a day which make sense for me that they are working not for their selves but you can see how happy they are serving other people, serving other nationals. </div>

Narealize ko sa haba ng panahon pinipilit kong maging influential sa language na di naman ako comfortable, don't get me wrong but it seems like na pinipilit ko lang sa English ang mga blogpost ko, which is pwede ko namang gawing <i>taglish</i> to make it easier for me to express my thoughts and adventure. Back in September, I and my barkada went to <b>Ilocos Region</b> for like 2 days and 1 night escapade. Umalis kami ng late thursday evening, pick up point: Mall of Asia, Pasay City. Around 9:00 evening. Very Supportive brother Mark "Kim", Bubbly with a little bit of spice, Samantha. </div>

Dahil first time kong magtravel kasama ang barkada at first time namin ang mag travel package, medyo kabado at the same time excited. Sa dami ng activities, sobrang memorable ng first and looking forward para sa mas maraming escapade. Di ko malilimutan ang taho ni kuya, "Kuya puro sago lang po?" for real, kuya is about to give us a cup of tapioca. The experience of meeting great people like Kuya Patrick, Kuya Nier and Ate Alex, giving us pieces of advise about facing individual lives, love struggle and personal endeavor. Thank you sa <a href="https://www.facebook.com/Triple8Travel/" target="_blank">Travel 8 Tours</a> [www.triple8travel.com] for safe and memorable travel experience. 10 Stars kayo for this Escapade. Sinimulan ko naman ang month of October with a breeze, i went to <b>City of Baguio</b>. I was with my office mates (di ba hindi nauubusan ng dahilan para gumala at mag unwind). Feeling ko din photographer ako that time, mobile photography na walang extra battery or power bank man lang as back up (Malaking pasasalamat sa mga kaibigan kong laging nagdadala ng powerbanks)<div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
Una kong punta dito is, kasama ang team namin sa work for team building back noong February. Maybe my soul is wandering around, pinakikiramdaman at nilalasap ang maalat na hangin. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
#BiyaherongPuyat. See you around <i>ka-iskolar. </i></div>

It's been a while, i never thought that i would stop by in this page again. Sorry, I just wander around and look for more spaces to look after. After all the experiences i have right now, i think i'm turning into an adult, more light years to come. Writing and sharing thoughts are very interesting - reading back all the things i had before and the journey i got, nothing can pay it off, a very worthy adventure.<span id="goog_1954355851"></span><br />
<br />
I'm in the middle of deciding, if i'll continue being a Call Center Agent or not. I have nothing against them like what my very last post, they are really great. The pressure, stress, changes and even with all the will issues that we have. I have to say they are Agents of Shield. We woke up late, changing the body clock, we even turn breakfast into dinner and lunch into breakfast. Endure all the shouts, curse, pains and personal issues that we pretend that we are okay. I'm in the middle of deciding, is this industry deserves a soft heart creature like me. The industry is very strong, with great foundation and diverse pool of individuals with superhuman confidence.<br />
<br />
I'm fortunate i started with Eperformax, they let me realize that graduation is just an introduction and not yet the whole story. Day after day before, i really enjoy having conversation with customers, the wiggle and wobble you create with each talk you have with them, not just about the metrics, not just about the stats, it sounds irony because i sound flat and bored with the recordings but you'll gonna see me smiling and that's what i really love but now i'm doubting myself to have it again. I'm guilty and shamed of saying i'm tired, most of my college friends already moving and making their own family portrait, most of my training batch mates already made their own stories and here i am don't know what to do, i'm just 22 and already asking too many questions.<br />
<br />
Maybe you are gonna say "Weak", "Noob" or "What the heck are you saying, you just got your 6th month" I don' know if this is normal for those student jump in immediately the corporate world after graduation. Maybe you are gonna say "You just need a break", "You just need some talk" maybe yes but i don't know if i'll just go with the flow but i'm not a dead fish. I'm not even a beautiful fish that companies gonna look after or even a shark that they are gonna be scared of, at some point i'm just wondering if this is just part of a much better story [Not about Finding Aeron hahaha] I'm not a quitter, i'll be fighting until the end but the question is, is their will be an ending for a clown fish like me? See you around<i> ka-iskolar.</i>Aeron Emmanuelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13712967273249430402noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9121752914029743939.post-78526949755449144912016-12-13T13:45:00.000-08:002017-02-15T04:40:37.745-08:00A Mid-lane Journey<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
I had this encounter with a customer, asking me why did i choose the industry where i am right now. BPO Industry is a very tough industry, employees are struggling though out the process from training to production. I'm fortunate to have a very long process yet a very good transition from academe to actual work place. I encountered several attempts to give up and to choose a different path but instead i strive to know more about how it works, now i thoroughly understand how heavy a call center agent's job.<br />
<br />
Sometimes i feel so guilty that i can't assist certain customer, I feel sorry for myself for not going beyond extra miles or tried to call customers that got disconnected/hung up due to high volume of calls. When i was in learning lab, i can sense the emotion of my customers but my supports back then taught me not to take it personally then i shifted to transaction mentality <i>(trabaho lang walang personalan) </i>I thought it was a good start. i removed that emotional connection i do have with my customers, my average handling time is very good but it turned out not satisfying my customers i wasn't able to identify the needs behind their needs, I'm the one in a hurry not the customer. Gradually i become more insensitive with my customers, i think about myself alone, i think that if i do this fast i can assist more customer, i can give more assistance but at the end of the day i just lose millions of opportunity to give an assistance to other people.<br />
<br />
Sometimes we are asking for <i>sana </i>day off <i>na lang uli, tinatamad, napapagod, mabilis mabugnot ang ulo. </i>We are just mere humans, we have peak of performance and the best days of ourselves but be honest we also have days that we want to end up immediately. The enthusiasm that i have before when i was in training is kinda blurry right now, i lose the sight of knowing and understanding how can i give further assistance. Before when i was in college, i was asking why most of the people i know doesn't want to work in call center industry, because of the language? Work schedule? Difficulties of work? I Don't know. They come up to Call Center agent<i> lang, </i>every time i said i'm an agent. It doesn't sound right and disheartening scenario but i always took it positively. While typing this article,i thought that this industry provides a lot of growth opportunity, facets like personality enhancement to professionalism. I saw my stats, i'm not a performer like most of the people i know at the floor but i know what are the things that i need to fill out.<br />
<br />
Now i'm in my third month as a regular employee, i'm happy with my team they are very positive and always strive to give an assistance, Yes we might not be the best but we are more than the best people at the floor that know how to be happy in the middle of the journey. I'm a newbie, i accepted it and embraced the fact that i need to learn more, a lot of questions and bugging attempts that entice me to give up but in the end of the day we asked questions because we want answers and we are the actual person that knows how to figure it out. <i>Ikaw ka iskolar, ano ang positive mantra mo? Kindly share it below Muchas Gracias!</i>Aeron Emmanuelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13712967273249430402noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9121752914029743939.post-1569810192786845512016-11-22T15:42:00.000-08:002016-11-22T15:51:53.621-08:00OPPO F1s Selfie Filter<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

For all the night works and jives throughout the week, selfies and escapades is such a relief for us. I find taking photos as your magical power to freeze time and hold on with your memories, and along with that kind of magic - you need a wand to hold your <i>mémoire </i>and to share.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="color: red;"><b>OPPO F1s</b> </span>is a perfect partner to be wizard or witch. I think even Newt Scamander would gonna grab one of this phone to take photo of all the fantastic beast he is encountering. I'm looking for a gift for myself for this coming Holiday and i saw their advertisement online and i even checked for reviews about this one, One of my colleagues bought one of this and i had a chance to checked it as well and i'm amazed by its filter and specification. A total package of a camera phone, a gift that will surely be worthy. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'll probably use Soft, very authentic and original. Because i'm working at night the <b><a href="http://www.oppo.com/en/smartphone-f1s" target="_blank"><span style="color: red;">OPPO F1s</span></a></b> also have 13 MP Rear Camera perfect for night shots, maximizing light sensitivity and making wonderful night time performance just like magic. </div>

Yeah it is kinda weird that after shift you are going somewhere else instead of going home, especially if you work at night and the event is for morning people (Now playing: Ariana Grande - Side To Side ft. Nicki Minaj)<br />

I registered prior for the event to make sure i have a slot, i encouraged one of my workmate to go with me. Our shift ended exactly 9:00 enough to go straight to the event, because the event gonna start 10:00 am. Exactly it easy to travel because of MRT going to Cubao from Buendia station and the event is also around the corner of Araneta Coliseum. The event was held at Novotel Manila.<br />

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm sorry if i wasn't able to write for about a month because i focus a lot with my job and to be honest i need a break to breath in, as of the moment i don't know if this is what i really wanted. To be honest, speaking with customers are very entertaining and interesting, but to be scolded because you missed some words, you missed some spiel is kinda off i thought it's gonna be a good environment but i was wrong. Coach is right i assume a lot of things, i thought i'm in a good track but right now all things are dragging me where i was - a newbie. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I hold on to my mantra, learning is a process but i'm in a business world right now, not school, not training anymore. They don't need slowpoke like me lurking around with my tone. Yeah i'm efficient in terms of handling my calls but i'm focus on the quality to serve with our customers and i don't know where to place myself because they are looking for customer representative who can do both efficient and quality. I believed that this things will fall into places, but right now every words i heard is ripping me off. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
When i started to join the Company, i was alone - i was able to meet a lot of people, made friends, create more circles but at the end of the day, I'm alone. I have to let them go not because they do have their own stories but because i have my own story to write. From 19 trainees in Global Communication Training then mixed with several people in Enhance Training and were able to make peers of 22 trainees at Product specific training, now we are down to 5 trainees. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Like what my Performance Analyst said "this is survival of the fittest and the reason why you are here because you perform well, don't be complacent and don't stop learning." As i go further, i forgot to settle myself and i thought i was ok but i learned i have to learn to blend in while walking, doing things and moving forward no matter what. Sorry about my post, i just i have to let go all of the things inside me so i can be productive. Thank you <i>Ka-Iskolar, </i>Muchas Gracias!</div>

<br />
I just thought of writing because hours ago, I was in an interesting restaurant. This restaurant is called<i> Project Pie</i>. From the name, you'd think that it's a pizza place. Well, it is, but it offers more than just pizza. They also serve salads (for you health-conscious folks out there) and pastas (for you pasta-lovers out there).<br />
<br />
My mother brought me along to meet her old officemates, and we ate at <i>Project Pie </i>for lunch. We were rather lost as to what to do if a waiter will come to us or we will go to them. The staff was so nice to help us out, and guided us on what to do.<br />
<br />
One of the main things that makes this place interesting is that you can build your own pizzas, salads, and pastas. Of course, being the pizza lover that I am, I took the build your own pizza route.<br />
<br />
First, on a pizza dough that I estimated as about, a foot in diameter, you choose what sauce that you want, like tomato sauce, white sauce, etc. I chose the classic tomato sauce. Then, you move on to cheeses. I chose to put the blue cheese, and mozarella. Next, you add whatever topping that you want, from meats to veggies. I chose mostly meats, and a bit of veggies too, so that the guy that was putting together the pizza for me won't judge me.<br />
Finally, it goes in to the oven and all you have to do is wait.<br />
<br />
My mother and her friends got pasta and salads. Have you ever tasted a salad with raspberry sauce drizzled on it? I know, weird right? A leafy salad with raspberry sauce on it. But surprisingly, it's actually good. I mostly ate that salad than the savory salad. I didn't got the chance to taste the pasta though, maybe next time?<br />
<br />
Oh, of course I got to eat my pizza. It was good and yummy. The blue cheese made it interestingly tasty too. There are also some desserts and almost of their dessert items contain nutella. Can't wait to try that too! The best part is that you can also refill your drinks.<br />

<br />
About the interior of the restaurant, it has that rustic feel in it. And there's a cool wall that looks like a white board and it contains these quotes on them. We chose to sit next to the window because it looked quite comfortable to sit there, and it is. While they were chatting away about the good ol' days, I just looked at the people walking by.<br />
<br />
If you want to visit Project Pie and design, build, and eat your meal, it's located at Makati, Metro Manila, near the Dusit Thani Hotel, and SM Makati.<br />
<br />
I hope you enjoyed reading, and I'll write again soon. :)Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07242849214094376042noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9121752914029743939.post-4121559988420554082016-09-05T10:07:00.003-07:002016-09-05T10:11:02.728-07:00PST Batch 35AWe really had a very fun experience with our trainer, well he is actually my first guy trainer through out my training with Eperformax. Should i call him Sir? nope, i think he'll not gonna like it. He is a not so typical big brother you gonna meet around the corner because he treat us as if we are his younger siblings and most of the time he bully us in the most positive way.<br />

<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The first part of training was more of fun oriented on how to know more about our co-trainees and what we are expecting and what to expect from the training proper. Sprint is a telecommunication account based on US and we will be providing information, instructions and clarification about the product. Well according to what i heard, for a newbie like me its not a good idea to be part of this account because irate customers are rampaging. Our trainer never sugar coat the insights of other toward the account, he even said that "<i>lahat naman ata ng account merong irate". </i>To be honest, i was terribly scared of what's gonna happen, thinking of what will be my first customer and what can i render to make sure he or she will be very happy. Over thinking is all around the corner, but he assisted us not to stress ourselves, he even make the discussion light and easy to understand, he always ask us for questions if it is not clear </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The Second part of training was to be aware of the floor experience, we were able to see people who are currently working, doing what we will gonna do in the next several years of our lives. He gave us tips and hacks that surely help us to thoroughly understand what is an agent should be. Practical tips and motivational quotes gave us the drive to continue our journey. We started 22 in number and we were only 16 endorsed for launchpad. The training is very complex, that is kinda complicated with a twist but like what i said, maybe it depend upon whose your trainer.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The Last part of training was the actual call of real customer within an hour. The interesting part of it, that you are combining all what you've learned through out the product specific training and global communication training. The mock call and even other activities we had before, is actually different of the actual experience. The training environment is almost the same but the difference is the real experience we can have, maybe because it is an actual customer.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Our numbers are chopping down, people go and people choose to have a different story, we might not be part of their story but they are part of ours, which make the story very interesting. All we have to make sure everyday that we have to improve, don't be complacent and stop over thinking. Training is part of my corporate journey, the ladder is kinda scary and it seems endless and surely the learning will always be limitless. I have to give my faith with the company and trust them as how they trust me. </div>
<div>

Seeing young art enthusiast participating in this kind of event, drives me to participate as well. As like what the speaker said, events like this is not limited for those who are currently studying but also for out-of-school-youth who has the interest of expressing their thought through arts.<br />

An on the spot doodling challenge with a theme of <span style="color: red;"><b>Equality.</b></span> I registered around roughly 11 in the morning and the competition started exactly 1 in the afternoon, The concierge and people at the front desk are very hospitable and easy to deal with. I grew up judged by people, like i'm not yet doing anything but they already gave me a title <i>"Bakla", "Gay", "Faggot" </i>and any other thing. I haven't done anything, I even didn't say anything but they judge me as if they know my whole story. I was discriminated to do things like you're not allowed to play basketball or any sports because <i>"Malamya ako", </i>I'm not allowed to stand in line with boys because they feel like i'm not one of them, I'm not allowed to play with them because they thought i prefer playing with girls, I grew up as if i was in a box that i didn't choose to be into. Even my parents do the same thing, they always remind me to be <i>brusko </i>and make my voice deep so i won't sound feminine. I grew up like i have to pretend that i'm one of the guys, i grew up as if living to be like this is a curse, i'm not homosexual but i lived in a world that most people says i'm one of it. I'm amazed by these homosexual people because every time i encounter one of them. I feel their agonies and frustration to move forward. I knew they gone through a lot pain because of bullying but unlike me they were able to smile like no tomorrow, they were able to rejoice as if they didn't go through pain, as if they live like nobody is watching.<br />
<br />
I'm just one of those kids who are left alone after the flag ceremonies because no one like to be friend with. I'm one of those teens who went home alone and find online gaming is more sociable than playing personally. I'm one of those young individuals that are socially awkward to talk because i was thinking i might offend them like how other people offend me but ..<br />

Then i realized i don't have to explain what I am, I don't have to prove who I am, I don't have to make amendments for people to accept me. Life isn't about finding myself but its about creating myself. Life isn't about getting and having but it's about giving and being. Those presumptions and judgement sounds very terrible, aching and hurtful process but as I go through the pain. I feel numb as if words can't kill me anymore. Words can either build me or break me, it can either wound me or heal me but the most interesting thing about words it can make me question everything, why is the world like this? what make people to do this? do that? Words encouraged me to seek answer from all the things outside my comfort zone which is composed of pain and judgement. I accepted all those discrimination wholeheartedly to change the way i see things because in order to be happy we have to view pain as building block of who we want to be regardless of what other people can see upon us.<br />
<br />
And with the advent of advanced imaging technologies coming in, a smartphone like the new <b><span style="color: red;">Huawei P9</span></b> with its 12-megapixel Leica camera and huge 5.2-inch screen makes it possible for me to share motivation for those people who are going through their journey of finding happiness.Aeron Emmanuelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13712967273249430402noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9121752914029743939.post-621765300914126422016-08-13T03:49:00.001-07:002016-08-13T03:54:28.567-07:00Why Starting Line is the Secret Ingredient<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUFDfcHidzfzQM_lPPL24eOOCnzY5ZVVNo0097hFy6517HwhBnOpfre0za42nXUQ9V7PwXyknL2jezic2ZhGBs-YdLaFxnzpKAx6HoUldO8tkyk169Aa19GQHGap6humOZHnsyzaBA2gs/s1600/journey6-hiking2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUFDfcHidzfzQM_lPPL24eOOCnzY5ZVVNo0097hFy6517HwhBnOpfre0za42nXUQ9V7PwXyknL2jezic2ZhGBs-YdLaFxnzpKAx6HoUldO8tkyk169Aa19GQHGap6humOZHnsyzaBA2gs/s320/journey6-hiking2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Sorry Guys I'm absent for quite sometimes, i think 2 weeks. I'm focused to understand and know more about the data base systems and applications we use here in our account. As like what i said before, this is my actual starting line, what are the promos, what are the ethics, proper call flow and how to address the customer properly. It's difficult, to be honest but you have to give more additional effort, and don't forget to have fun. Effort like, I tried to do some research about the product and i ask my colleagues about things that unclear for me, review my notes and make some research about customer review about our services through online (scary because most of them are bashers). having Fun like, after break we play billiards or we play Just Dance via playstation, We don't forget to crack jokes and our trainer is very entertaining, he combined fun and learning which makes the training more exciting.<br />
<br />
For roughly 3 months of training and certification process, Eperformax gave us an opportunity to understand that, every chapter in our lives there will be another line to prepare for and we always have to make ourselves stronger more than who we are yesterday. Through out the process, i was able to meet people who are interesting to share my stories, to listen to their stories and there are people who'll cross your way and have fun with but as i go everyday sometimes dependence to those people is kinda scary, you'll meet them by chance but leave a tremendous remark, you'll see them go and sometimes you wont. We are 22 in number, batch 35A but two of my colleagues resigned for personal reasons, we can encourage them not to resign but at the end of the day it will always be their decision if they will continue or not.<br />
<br />
For the first 2 weeks here in Product Specific Training, i was able to feel the actual work, meet great people, talk with the guards and know more about my colleagues. Every thing is new, like new environment, new place, new people, new food to try and I had my first certification, i have to be more conscious of the metrics and applications, i forgot to use two. I have to work on with my tone and work on more how to sound lively. I was able to personalized my call flow even though i wasn't able to resolve the issue, at least i made some changes but of course i have to work more and double my effort. Like what my former trainer said, Don't be complacent. #Power<br />
<br />
Starting line is the secret ingredient not for success but to understand yourself. Understanding your strengths, accepting your weaknesses, finding out your opportunities and combining fun while learning. I'm very serious in terms of learning and sometimes i got frustrated then my trainer said, time is very important you don't have to rush or hurry up but learn step by step, so it would be easier for you to catch up. Success is not the fruit or result of why we started but instead the process we gone through is actually the success of what we are looking for. You <i>ka-iskolar </i>what have you gone through from the past few weeks? We want to hear your story, kindly drop it below. </i><br />
<i><br /></i>
</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<br />
<i>(Encantadia background music) </i><i>Huwag kang bibitaw sa pagsulat ng buhay natin.
<i><br /></i>
<i>Lubos na Gumagalang,</i><br />

<br />
Maybe this day is the best day to end my 30 Days Challenge, my not so typical Saturday. I had a roller coaster ride on my chair while waiting for the result of my interview. I was over thinking back then about it, i can't hear Mana's instruction (She is one of my trainers in Enhance), I can't focus in the activity, i can't sense and understand the people around me. Maybe i'm too anxious about the result, that was my last chance. And i'm serious to be part of the company, why? Because the company is composed of individuals with passion for people, to help and to give other an opportunity to grow.<br />
<br />
In my #30DaysChallenge, I was able to chat with strangers inside the bus, talk about politics, work ethics and everything under the sun. Yeah weird, talking to people who doesn't know you or talking to people that you don't have any idea. I met them by chance but the most interesting part of it before 30 days challenge, i'm not into that because i found socializing very awkward and scary. Talking to strangers are not bad after all.<br />
<br />
I tried different Fast food chains and weird food combinations like Shawarma plus Rice, Kikiam with Yakisoba Noodles, Burger Kings Whopper Jr. With Flame Grilled Cheese Burger. Chicken Fillet Italiana of McDonalds, Jollibee's Sweet & Spicy BBQ Burger Steak, KFC's Famous Rice bowl and many more. Maybe for others, its normal but for me buying foods without thinking about the price is new. Well i come to realize that i have to be passionate about not starving myself to death, I learned to appreciate foods like how you appreciate yourself.<br />
<br />
I tweet what i did, i gave random quote that suddenly appear inside my head, i practice what i learned from Enhance program through updating my twitter. I become more conscious of what to post and what not. I become more detailed about the grammar (yeah i know, i have to learn more about the rules.) I fell in love more with learning because of Anne. I started to download videos in TED, I started to listen PODcast in TED Radio Hour and i started to review and track the things i learned everyday. I even search proper usage of preposition or review my post before publishing. I learned not to be complacent with my current capacity, i learned not to measure my skills from other people' skills and not to get envied if they went ahead of me. Now, i appreciate my own opportunities and learn how to be better than who i am yesterday. <br />
<br />
I bought souvenirs for my brother and share what i earned with my parents, I usually buy doughnut, burger or pizza before going home. Hearing those <i>"Thank you kuya! or Salamat anak!" </i>i feel more accomplished than my thesis, i feel more appreciated than my awards back in college.<br />
<br />
Maybe i wasn't able to do things according to my plan, but i didn't expect that the 30 days challenge that i had, improved not only my sociability skills but my views in life. Maybe 30 days is not enough but everyday is a challenge, we have our own trials and obstacle to get through. We met people who have more stories to tell than stories we have. Trying new or something weird is a must, to know more if you are growing. Don't be afraid to try again if you fail because at the end of the day success without failure is plain entitlement. Do all the things you want to do because after your 29,200 days Challenge, all you can do is to remember those memories. <i>Ikaw ka-iskolar </i>have you tried doing 30 Days Challenge? Kindly drop your comment and we want to know your story. There’s no denying that the most popular genre around these days is the superhero movie. I'm one of those nerds who really fascinated with their super power and hidden identity. I'm just wondering how ordinary people live because every other day, new hideous villain sprout from no where and started to mock everyone. I grew up with this kind of movies, i remembered i cried annoyingly just to get that original Spiderman CD featuring Tobey Maguire. Below, you’ll find a comprehensive guide of superhero movie release dates for every major comic book adaptation way up next year.<br />

Release Date: August 5, 2016<br />
The DC comic revolves around a group of anti-heroes who take on dangerous missions for the government in exchange for commuted sentences. Smith is Deadshot, Robbie is Harley Quinn, Leto is The Joker, Courtney is Captain Boomerang, Kinnaman is Rick Flagg, Delevingne is Enchantress, and Davis plays Amanda Waller, who is essentially DC’s Nick Fury. This is Warner Bros.’ first non-Superman film in its new DC Movie Universe, and Ayer appears to be striking a much darker yet playful tone judging by the film’s terrific trailer.<br />

Release Date: November 4, 2016<br />
Marvel initially courted Joaquin Phoenix for the lead role in this new franchise, but as the time came to finally sign the contract Phoenix opted to walk away. Cumberbatch eventually signed on, to be joined by Swinton as eventual mentor The Ancient One and Ejiofor as the villainous Baron Mordo. The comic adaptation will bring mysticism into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (described as Marvel’s Fantasia) as it tells the origin story of Stephen Strange, a former neurosurgeon and narcissist who is granted magical powers by a hermit called the Ancient One after his hands are seemingly irreparably damaged in a car accident.<br />

Not much as the film is firmly under wraps, but Gunn has previously said that Thanos may or may not appear, but he is most certainly “not the most important character”. The main crux of the story will involve the parentage of Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord, with the iconic Kurt Russell filling the mysterious role of Peter’s birth father.<br />

Release Date: June 2, 2017<br />
Gadot made her first appearance as the character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and will appear in Justice League Part One and Justice League Part Two, but not before she gets her own standalone film, and a World War I one at that. This marks the first female-led superhero movie of the modern era, and it will fittingly be directed by a woman. However, while Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones veteran Michelle MacLaren was previously attached to direct, she departed over creative differences and Warner Bros. subsequently enlisted Monster helmer Jenkins, who herself was previously attached to Marvel’s Thor 2. Cast-wise, Pine is onboard to play Wonder Woman’s love interest Steve Trevor in what will hopefully be some fun gender reversal.<br />

Release Date: July 7, 2017<br />
Few thought it would ever happen, but Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios came to an agreement in which they will be sharing the character of Spider-Man, with the webslinger first appearing in an MCU movie (Civil War) before getting his own rebooted film. Marvel’s Kevin Feige is producing the picture, which is said to bring forth a younger Spidey who is still in high school. The Cabin in the Woods co-writer/director Drew Goddard was first rumored to take the helm, but Marvel eventually settled on Cop Car helmer Watts with Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley (Vacation) writing the script. Michael Keaton is eyed to play the film’s villain, rumored to be Vulture, and Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark will further his relationship with the young webslinger after first appearing together in Captain America: Civil War. And no, there will not be another origin story.<br />
<br />
<b>Thor: Ragnarok</b><br />

<b><br /></b>
Release Date: November 3, 2017<br />
The title most likely refers to the event from Nordic mythology in which catastrophic destruction comes to Asgard, submerging the entire world underwater and killing nearly every god. Or it could also refer to a cloned version of Thor that Tony Stark creates after Thor is presumed killed during the Ragnarok event. Either way, Marvel says the “Norse End of Days” is coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the studio plans to have filming underway by June 2016. They’ve tapped What We Do in the Shadows director Taika Waititi to take the helm, making for a very curious hire given his background in comedy. Cate Blanchett will be leading the villain charge as Hela, Tessa Thompson is Valkyrie, and Karl Urban is the villainous muscle Skurge, while the MCU is about to get a lot weirder with Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, one of the Elders of the Universe.<br />

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSeZGYixnHuBz7ksGMqmJQdjQ4ZMeULppXi8KcysyFh2AqclmRfgt7U44JwTAEF4d1OcYgSKkNJbNlzCr430mNkfLpD2_vbsIsICd36pLbS-IjisQ9iy4eF-_XTKAXpSt57IHmM3u0DDQ/s1600/shutterstock_139712587.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSeZGYixnHuBz7ksGMqmJQdjQ4ZMeULppXi8KcysyFh2AqclmRfgt7U44JwTAEF4d1OcYgSKkNJbNlzCr430mNkfLpD2_vbsIsICd36pLbS-IjisQ9iy4eF-_XTKAXpSt57IHmM3u0DDQ/s320/shutterstock_139712587.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
What motivates you to go to work? what motivates you to do this? to do that? I encountered this question several times, and i always answered it with "I wanna know more about my capacity, i want to know more about my self" a very generic or cliche answer for a newbie or fresh graduate. I'm not a very proactive person like most people want me to be, i just want to compete with myself and see my growth.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I wonder what makes me keep going to work, i encountered to be left behind, to felt not growing and i failed several times but why i keep on going? I remembered what Nova (My Very First Trainer in GCT) said "Be responsible with your self, because no one will and no one want it". Yes i encountered to be left behind but i said to myself that it is not yet my opportunity, it is their opportunity. Yes i encountered not growing, i think most people can relate to it, i felt like i was stuck in a certain point and i couldn't go any further but isn't odd to say it because i'm in the beginning or maybe because i envied the people who went ahead of me. Yes i failed several times but i believe mistakes are very valuable because i can't learn anything from being perfect, i humbly accept failing, yes i'm allowed to cried, yes i can scream but i don't want to give up, i silently chose not to gave up, because giving up is like you abandon the people who believed in you. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Most people see their motivation from other people or from things, like they want to have a house, to get hired and get a stable job, they want to see their selves at certain position, they want that Asus ROG GL552, they dream to have that Mini Cooper, They want to travel and go around the world, they want to give their family a well-off life style, We always seek for extrinsic motivation, tangible, title, things that drive us to take the action, but as we go further we realize that personal achievement should come first, i know i'm too young about this, too early for me but most of the time i heard my colleagues that they only looked forward to the monetary reward of the training, they are motivated by how much they can get but not by how much things they can learn.<br />
<br />
Well, the things i mentioned earlier are actually my dreams. Those are the things that most of the time i thought motivated me but turned out to be my frustration. Then i realized that things shouldn't be like that, you can dream and go for it but never lose you self, never lose the opportunity to find out more about yourself because if you lose yourself, your plans and your dreams started to fade as well.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The journey is only about to start. The training is very dynamic, every week we meet new people and say goodbyes to our old friends, it is either they got profiled for a certain account or just decided not to attend anymore. The training, test our behavior like how life test our determination, their will be more because unlike in school, you're taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you're given a test that teaches you a lesson. Then what motivates me then? i motivate myself because at the end of the day. Yes, people around me can motivate me, i can follow hundred of motivational pages in Facebook, share inspirational tweets or like a photos in Instagram but it depends upon me if i accept their motivation. It depends upon me if i accept their encouragement and at the end it will always be my decision, my own liability, my own responsibility. <br />
I have been with the company for about one and a half months and i think, things are now clear for me (ok, not so clear but at least i have an idea about corporate world) I passed the Global Communication Training and i was transferred to enhance program, a program that prepare us for our interviews. It is been two weeks now that i got transferred, most of my colleagues were able to get through and profiled for an account. I knew i have a lot of things need to improve, from my pronunciation, grammar, how to organize my thought and the like, so i attend additional classes every before shift. I think things are now getting heavier, i was having my assessment with my trainer when i said "things are now uncomfortable for me, i become more conscious about what to say and what not." then she asked me why they are doing this.<br />
<br />
I realized I am actually growing but i'm not sure if it is me or just my imagination but what i noticed the way i think and the way i organize my thoughts, it is different from who i am before. I supposed to enhance myself, from all the things i learned from GCT but i don't know what happened, maybe because i tried to be someone else - emptying his bottle.<br />
<br />
While in the bus, i spend a lot of time figuring stuff out. Usually i am staring on the window and thinking random stuff. I know i am not one of lucky few who already knows what their passion is and what i really enjoy, i spend a lot of time trying new things and figuring out what i like and what am i good at, but i easily get depress when things are not on my side. I realized because i expect so much, that people will appreciate my work, yes i'm convincing myself that there will be many challenges, obstacles and curve balls along the way but i don't want to pretend that it is easy to move on and not to feel sad when things are not fine.<br />
<br />
I realized that life is extremely messy and complicated, Life is about change and facing rejections. Life has a lot of meaning, we do have our own way of writing and different way of figuring it out but we all do have one core of being which is how to accept and face another one. Whether my life is messy and complicated its fine with me, because at the end of the day i have to find myself improving. Life is a continual work in progress. We’re all just trying to find our way, and we’re all confused and looking for contentment. Life is a journey, and happiness is not a destination to arrive at, but a way of living. You <i>ka-iskolar </i>what can you say about life, we wanna hear your comment. <br />
What if you woke up tomorrow as a cockroach? An interesting discussion with our class about expounding an idea. I chose cockroach because that is the least possible pest i want to be, least because no one want to be an insect, least because they are gross. Cockroaches are very interesting species, we do have around 30 species of cockroaches and only 4 of them are considered as pest. Cockroaches are an ancient group, dating back at least as far as the Carboniferous period or before dinosaur era, some 320 million years ago.<br />
<br />
I chose cockroach because they can't die from a nuclear bomb. I read some article about their resistant about nuclear explosion or survival rate from exposure in radiation. They typically can live and survive but in certain degree or level of exposure. Radiation gradually destroys organism on the cellular level, that is why humans are very vulnerable. On the other hand, cockroaches molt about once a week at most, which make radiation to attack cells less effective. Cockroaches can survive the amount of radiation at ground zero of a nuclear explosion, though of course, not the explosion itself if they were right next to it.<br />
<br />
I think if given a chance to answer the same question, i think i'll choose cockroach again. We considered them as pest but in ecological term, they served as food in food web. Cockroaches balance the community, and the cycle, aside as being prey they feed on decaying organic matter that produce nitrogen which get into the soil and is used by plants, extinction of cockroaches would have a big impact on forest health and affect all the species indirectly.<br />
<br />
We used to think, we are senseless, we don't live with a purpose, so sometimes we incorporate ourselves as a pest. Cockroaches lived for about hundred years and considered as ancient, they don't care if you don't like them, They don't care if you call them pest. Because, unlike humans, insects and other creatures already know their purpose, which is to make a balance in the ecosystem. Humans are the end user, so the tendency is, we feel superior. But if you think like a cockroach, that you live to serve for small role, you can live for a big purpose.<br />
<br />
They can easily adjust and adapt with the environment, the reason why they are not extinct. Everyday, you have to adjust and adapt, how to deal with people, how to accept change, how to do things positively. If you know how to adjust and adapt, gradually you'll learn how to find your purpose. For me, learning is a process, it doesn't need to be immediate because like cockroaches in order to be an adult, you have to molt hundred times. <i>Ka-iskolar</i> If you'll be a pest what would it be and why? I wanna know your answer, kindly drop it below. When i was a child i used to watch Pokemon and ask to have one in reality. As i grow older, i realized that our world is not yet ready for that kind of request - Genetically advanced Animal Battle, i think Philippines Animal Welfare Society will do have a protest about it.<br />

Nintendo and developer Niantic Labs last Wednesday, July 6, released Pokemon Go, the first Pokemon augmented reality mobile game for Android and iOS. Fans have been patiently waiting for the game since it was announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo last June, that the game would come out in July. It likely came as a surprise to avid Pokemon fans that the app was launched in selected areas, because Nintendo and The Pokemon Company kept quiet about the official release date of the game despite ending beta testing on June 30.<br />

Pokemon Go uses your smartphone’s camera, sensors and GPS to be able to place the titular Pokemon into the real world. When you travel to different places, different places, various Pokemon will appear and can be battled or caught. Users can pick the name and starting clothes of their character. The first Pokemon they get will be shown in the world map and all you need to do is to touch the Pokemon to attempt to catch it.<br />
<br />
Players can also purchase virtual Pokecoins with real money to buy Pokeballs, incense, eggs, and more. The micro transactions range from $0.99 to $99.99.<br />
<br />
It is common for gaming companies to do “soft launches” in selected countries before deploying the app worldwide. US and Japan users were asked to “please wait for a while” for the app’s launch in those markets, according to The Wall Street Journal. Eager fans are also finding alternative methods to download the Pokemon Go app on their iPhones or Android devices, from side loading the program on Android to changing their location settings on iTunes just for the download.<br />
<br />
Well as of now, we have to wait till the release and actual launch here in our country. For those who are too excited to be pokemon masters and trainer, always remember: "I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. <br />
I was crying yesterday morning in the bus going home. I knew when i ended the conversation with the interviewer i didn't get through for the program. Before having the interview, i knew i'm not yet ready for another one but my trainer believed in me - so i have to believed in myself as well. She instructed me not to get nervous because my nervousness is too obvious throughout the conversation. She is one of those people i really like having conversation with, even though i had an opportunity to talk in very short period of time, i'm comfortable. I don't know maybe because she looked someone i knew back in college.<br />
<br />
I encountered rejection for multiple times, consecutive and occasionally. High school, College, Work Application, even at Home. For me, rejection is equal with failure because it feels the same, the emotion and frustration that i feel. When i got home, i hugged my mom and said i failed again. I felt ease when she said, it's ok. I knew it wouldn't be easy because i'm a fresh graduate looking for a place to work. I knew how difficult to fit in with the crowd when you know you are not good in fitting in but why do i continue? because life is an endless journey, not a puzzle when a piece is missing you'll stop, life is an endless story that you should write spontaneously.<br />
<br />
When you feel rejected, take a deep breath and smile just to remove the heaviness of emotion. Its ok to cry, its ok to feel sad because we are humans but never stop in finding out how to improve ourselves. When i felt rejected, i reviewed the things that i've done then try to avoid not to do it again. I buy something that i really like to try or food that might fill in my stomach (manage your food when stress). I do some sketches and draw something from out of nowhere, scroll down funny videos or photos to ease out those feelings of rejection.<br />
<br />
We are lucky to see ourselves learning from those things because not all people were able to do that, yes i cried heavily in the bus like a kid then i have to move on and start over again. I knew i only have one chance left to prove myself in the company, i have to be brave - i'm grateful i started my career with them, people who are compassionate to assist people. You <i>ka-iskolar </i>how do you handle stress? if you have any idea or comment kindly drop it below. <br />
I was watching a video speech in TED, just random stuff i do when i feel i need to sleep but this one video took my interest. Matt Cutts, described his 30 days challenge as life changing, he re-wrote himself, he re- invent the track he was taking. Then i saw myself staring at the ceiling what if i do it the same, do things that i wanted to do before, do things that i'm not used to do or things that randomly catch my interest. I started my 30 Days Challenge - Last July 1, 2016 and its been 4 days.<br />
<br />
Yeah, i'm young to do this kind of thing or i'm not doing it right because most of the things that showed up in the internet are health conscious activity like 30 days challenge like how to have abs, figure and the like. But i'm taking this challenge as my catapult or stepping stone for personal growth.<br />
<br />
On my first day, i reviewed people who i want to deal with but it seems i don't have to because i don't really need to, because Life is continuous. Then i keep on thinking what are the things i need to try within this 30 days challenge. I want to try the <i>Shawarma</i> in Gil Puyat, go in Batangas or Tagaytay alone, buy something with Spider man thing, watch movie (Startrek Beyond), cook something like adobo or grill barbeque. Ask the number of the girl at the bakery, she's cute. I also wanna know, if i can do a very interesting business idea within 30 days or if i can do changes with our blog. I also want to try different fast food chain and eat a very satisfying burger. I was thinking to enroll a once a week gym program near here in our place, i wanna test if i can gain weight within a month. Inquire about passive earning like mutual fund or Unit investment trust funds however i can't because i don't have enough money, but lets try if i can do it. I have to finish the book i started to read and read more books especially the sci-fiction one and everything follows, maybe i don't have to plan so much because the tendency i would feel lazy to do it. If you have an idea for me to try, give me some guides to make this challenge very interesting. Kindly comment it below, Gracias!Aeron Emmanuelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13712967273249430402noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9121752914029743939.post-50927685669850554732016-06-25T23:07:00.000-07:002016-07-03T14:38:13.661-07:00A Job Distribution Platform - Jobstore.com<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
When i was in college or even in High school, i study because i want to learn something or i want to know something new, in short i don't pushed myself. The tendency of pushing yourself to study is, you won't absorb anything and i believed that learning is a process, it can't be done with a snap. To be honest, school for me is a boring place, i prefer to stay in a library. At first i found difficulty in listening in class because different things are running inside my head, you might encountering me staring at the window or dumb-founded but then i encounter a professor in college that taught me to listen more than to hear his lesson. He preferred to have an interaction and exchange of ideas. There are hundred of strategies for you to learn, and it's up to you how to find it and what will work effectively.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So here is my tips for those who are currently finding difficulties in studying:</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
1. First, find what type of learner are you. Finding out what kind of learner are you would make you more aware about your capacities to absorb ideas. I'm mixed of auditory and kinesthetic learner, i learned that i'm more sensitive in sounds (fine, not so sensitive) and learned to do it by how my professor did it. Because through doing it by my own, i found it easier to remember and to learn, but of course it depends upon the subject. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Scientists and psychologists have developed a number of different models to understand the different ways that people learn best. One popular theory, the VARK model, identifies four primary types of learners: visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic. Each learning type responds best to a different method of teaching. Auditory learners will remember information best after reciting it back to the presenter, while kinesthetic learners will jump at the chance to participate in a hands-on activity.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
2. Be proactive, instead of passive reactive person inside the classroom. I encountered classmates like this. They tend to react to much quietly because they can't understand the classes. Yeah reacting underneath the class, is ok - but always approach someone who can lead you in the right track. Learning how to be proactive opens a lot opportunity for you to grow like you are able to learn how to speak in front of the class and learn to unfold your potential how to mingle with other. Participate in the class discussion whenever possible. Ask open ended questions. Join the discussion. The point here is that if you are involved in the class discussions you will be paying attention to what the instructor and others are talking about.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div>
3. Study with a group or partner, Study groups usually meet before big tests, but many PUP students have realized how helpful it is to help one another throughout the school year. You can exchange notes, quiz each other, and most importantly, hold each other responsible for showing up to each session. Yeah, my friend Andrea served as my motivator in all my school activities and endeavor when we got in our third year. She served as my partner in crime, doing recital, reminding about homework or doing assignments.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
4. Exercise to release stress, Instead of succumbing to anxiety or pressure until studying seems impossible, find a productive outlet to express your frustration. Physical activity releases endorphins that reduce stress and depression, and it's completely free. </div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
5. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, Sooner or later everyone runs into a course that they just struggle with. The material seems too far over their head, the math is too advanced, the instructor is too hard, whatever the reason; most people struggle with one or more classes sometime in their academic career. Don’t let the frustration, anger or fear of failure stop you from getting help. Seek out your instructor and ask for some one on one time. If they can’t or won’t give it to you, ask if there are any school sponsored tutor programs, organized study groups or other resources that might help. Chances are help is within reach if you simply ask for it!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Don't be afraid to reach out to tutors, professors, and classmates if you think you're falling behind. Whether you have trouble understanding a new concept or just need help managing your time, college is full of people who know exactly what you're going through. College is different from high school, you struggle because of the new environment and the possibility that you are not sure about your course. Be calm, because what you feel is actually natural - maybe everyone gone through that, asking about what their life would be in college or senior high school. </div>

Yeah it's kinda weird, at very young age - i already liked to be part of this industry. I heard a lot of opinions and self thought of other people, positive and negative, encouragement and dejected opinion regarding the line of work but i didn't stop to admire people who work in the said industry.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxFSc6tmg9AOl2WroJekLiHX4FICtERRXpU9PP6-AtfThth9RkrszaHCtsCRc73a9Kf6X2IaPQrhJuGiJAPqxFjc2GqHbkMJOwJKogSsJZOr7wMAHHJNpnLcUsd8EaUTmtFthJ5TWNoko/s1600/13453413_1044475955605434_1823960382_o.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" border="0" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxFSc6tmg9AOl2WroJekLiHX4FICtERRXpU9PP6-AtfThth9RkrszaHCtsCRc73a9Kf6X2IaPQrhJuGiJAPqxFjc2GqHbkMJOwJKogSsJZOr7wMAHHJNpnLcUsd8EaUTmtFthJ5TWNoko/s320/13453413_1044475955605434_1823960382_o.jpg" title="Photo Credit: Warren Viloria" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I encountered a lot of people, saying negative insights and even read a lot of reviews about Call Center companies. One of my classmates back in college said he doesn't want to be an agent because he doesn't want to waste his degree just to handle call, and one of my professor said he doesn't like to be part of it because of the work schedule, yeah they have their opinion, and we can't stop them. And now, I'm a trainee at <a href="http://www.eperformax.com/" target="_blank"><span style="color: red;">Eperformax Contact Centers & BPO</span></a> that challenged me to go beyond my limit, teaching me how to grow and preparing me more about how to be part of this industry.<br />
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Here is my 3 Reasons, why i chose BPO from other Industry:</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
1. The Industry is a third party service provider: You help the company to grow and you are able to assist the customer. We are the bridge between the company and the customer. My parents always remind me, assistance is like kindness - all you have to do is pay it forward. And this industry is aligned with helping individuals from clarifications of their bank account, verification of their credit cards or as simple as how to use screen shots from their smart phones. Hundred of people are asking for help, even at this moment. There are agents who are currently giving an assistance for a customer. Maybe there are instances or multiple instances of eerie customers but agents have to remain their pose and continue to offer service and kind assistance. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
2. Offers a lot of Opportunity: As a fresh graduate, i chose BPO because of the opportunity to challenge myself and opportunity to know more about myself. Learning about who you are and what might you become is a mantra that most people are taking for granted. I've been in the company for a month now, and i realize thousand of things everyday, realizations that hit me whether before going to work or before going home. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The company offers me to grow, learning to deal with different people of different ages, listening to their stories, sharing your experiences and creating camaraderie but the company also taught you that sometimes the colors of bonding fades, because they do have their own opportunity that are not meant to be with the company, so you have to learn how to be an independent. And i'm looking forward to know more about the opportunities they can offer whether its career growth or personal development. </div>
<div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9v5i0LZMUixb3DeXplpzAcPosePVl_tvU_3YCv5cAwZQmITctqE2WTrxnGOSrS5PzjGfvRPQHZcl5KxW3l0PMO3JkdwRivCJ2aex_r8Qu19jNnw-YrZorhmVT1Cz13Focc7neV8bFpXY/s1600/13451186_1044494922270204_2107349589_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9v5i0LZMUixb3DeXplpzAcPosePVl_tvU_3YCv5cAwZQmITctqE2WTrxnGOSrS5PzjGfvRPQHZcl5KxW3l0PMO3JkdwRivCJ2aex_r8Qu19jNnw-YrZorhmVT1Cz13Focc7neV8bFpXY/s320/13451186_1044494922270204_2107349589_n.jpg" title="Photo Credit: Warren Viloria" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
3. The Environment is Challenging: When i started my first week, i was able to work late at night. The schedule is very challenging especially if its changing, your body adjustment should be fast and your mental preparation should be firm. The training program also have their evaluation sessions every month, a goodbye session for those who can't meet the standard of the company. Yesterday, i was able to see the sad ending for my co-trainees but i knew the ending is only a beginning. Like what my trainer said, we can't stop the story because it is continuous, the group become smaller and smaller every week - it depends if we continue to strive or not, if we continue to challenge our selves or not, if we accept failures and learn from it. Schedule is one of the reasons why Filipino doesn't want to work in a BPO. Yeah, i'm a morning person since grade school. The graveyard shift is the most difficult thing about working for a call center. We all know our bodies are made to function in the day and sleep at night. If you work for a call center, you have to adjust your schedule so that you work at night and sleep during the day. You also have to adjust your eating schedule so that you eat breakfast in the evening, lunch at midnight, and dinner in the morning. Because i'm still in training, i don't know what will be the stress that they are talking about and the no rest days they are referring into but whatever it is, i knew a whole new story will unfold. <br />
<br />
The environment is very challenging for fresh graduate like me, fast-phase, psychologically and mental test for a soft-heart creature like me, a rough and rocky road adventure for a beginner, sometimes i'm asking myself did i really want to be part of this? then from nowhere, signs like <i>make the best happen, </i><i>we accept the need for change </i>or <i>optimism prevails </i>show up (these are actually slogans of companies). BPO is a jungle of adventure, i prepared myself for about 4 years but then i realized things have their own beginning, uncertain to possibilities is a trial for you, for me and trail of where to begin and the more i learn about the industry, the more i learn about myself. </div>

Gaming Industry here in our country is keep on growing. From ESL One Manila up until Manila Major, events that showed how colorful and hospitable our country. Events that proved that Philippines has a name in this industry. Video and Computer games is an emerging industry not only in our country but for the rest of the world. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
ESL One Manila conducted their pre-event press conference last year April 21 at the Nobu Hotel, City of Dreams in Paranaque City. Ulrich Schulz, Electronic Sports League (ESL)’s Vice President for Gaming said "The Philippines as a country is excited about eSports and an excellent venue for eSports events." ESL One Manila is just the beginning of the Pinoy Dota 2 hype.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
The <b>Manila Major</b> is the third event of Valve's Dota Major Championships. The main event takes place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines. The Manila Majors will have around $3 million (Php 140 million) prize pool and the event ran from June 7-12 at The Mall of Asia Arena, the same venue as ESL One. This will be the last major before the much-awaited "The International." This 12 team experienced our warm welcome, they experienced our hospitality, values and we showed our loved toward the industry. </div>

Even though our Representatives didn't made it to the top, Philippines is a great avenue for Gaming Industry because we are cheerful and colorful people who knows how to be sociable whether online or offline. With the amount of support given by the fans and the mainstream media in the country, the Manila Majors might be a good time to prove that Philippines’ EGames Industry is now on track.
